Carolyn Clancy, MD, Director of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, in testimony to the US Senate said it best:
“Simply put, health care quality is getting the right care to the right patient at the right time – every time.”
Our Strategic Vision
The Florida Health Care Coalition (FLHCC) represents large Florida public and private sector health care purchasers covering nearly 2 million lives with annual health care expenditures of over 4 billion dollars.
For more than 30 years, FLHCC has worked within the community to promote health care quality through collaboration and education.
Our organizational strategy relies on committed community partnerships to drive quality improvement while managing the rising cost of health care.
FLHCC's employer members and partners have a proven track record of collectively addressing subjects such as data driven outcomes measures, chronic disease management, patient safety, access for the uninsured, and the adoption of electronic health records.
